The weekend of crap weather
Well it's still grey and dull and like October!
Yesterday perked up, went for a trot round some well known local gardens and then a meal with E....Yes I even got all the housework done...YAY and double YAY
Yesterday evening, got an invite to D's, which was something of a surprise and a very pleasant evening all together....Time flew by, it was 11pm before I left bless her. She has loads going on at the moment, mom not well, eldest boy full to the brim of testosterone and only one thing on his mind, (which isn't study)...exams start in two weeks and the poor boy has discovered girls....he is sooooo obviously loved up (as is his girlfriend)...In a very obsessed teenage type of way.
D's house is wonderful, just so warm and homely, she works so hard at being a mom, a boss, a friend and a confidant...she is a lovely human being.
There were scores of semi drunken bloke there, who had spent the afternoon watching football, drinking beer and eating, it was just wonderful fun. They all bogged off to the local for some more beer, so D and I got to chatting, she has such a busy and full life, like a taxi driver and provider of food to the kids and her old man who is such a nice bloke too....(although others have said his fidelity is questionable)....D never seems to notice that though.
No significant plans for today, other than chilling and catching up with a few e-mails that need urgent attention
